E4 wanted a mobile film studio to record diary room style entries from the general public. From all over the UK. To be aired on E4 and shown on their website.
This was no ordinary mobile film studio; they wanted a fully branded solution that would reflect the E4 brand in the best possible way.

Design
E4 called us early. Could we design and present ideas to fit this unusual brief?

We brainstormed possible solutions that would fit the budget, and created a proposal to answer their brief. After some internal meetings and discussion E4 came to a decision; choosing the E4 logo skin for the studio.

	Production Our timeframe was short, but one thing was imperative from the start; at no time would we compromise the finish of the final unit. It had to stand tall as a beacon for the E4 brand. We managed the project to the minute, from start to finish. A completely bespoke Film studio produced infour weeks. What did it need to do? Record digital film Record sound Be soundproof Be waterproof Have internal lighting Light up at night Have a sliding entrance What else? It needed to be repairable and maintainable. It needed to be light and mobile It needed to be reliable; 200-300 people would be using this unit every day.
	Was it Any Good? Selina Cunningham - Producer at E4 said "It's fabulous...I was bowled over. When I saw it I almost cried - in a good way!" We have been stunned by the success of the E4 Mobile Film Studio. E4 were ecstatic about the final delivered unit, and accumulated hundreds of fantastic 'E Speaks' for E4 and the E4 website. It's success is testemony to the strength of the E4 brand and E4's willingness to push the envelope.
